Steaming up the small screen

It’s official: Evangeline Lilly (Kate on “Lost”) and Patrick Dempsey (Derek, aka Dr. McDreamy on “Grey’s Anatomy”) are the sexiest stars on TV.

At least, that’s according to TV Guide’s first-ever list of tube hotties.

“Grey’s” castmates Katherine Heigl (Izzie) and Justin Chambers (Alex) also made the cut – but not Eric Dane, who plays Mark “Dr. McSteamy” Sloan.

Rounding out the list of ladies: Eva Longoria (“Desperate Housewives”); Marg Helgenberger (“CSI”); Ali Larter (“Heroes”); Nadine Velazquez (“My Name Is Earl”); Roselyn Sanchez (“Without a Trace”); Rashida Jones (“The Office”); Rebecca Romijn (“Ugly Betty”); Jennifer Morrison (“House”).

The men: Sendhil Ramamurthy (“Heroes”); James Tupper (“Men in Trees”); Josh Holloway (“Lost”); Taylor Kitsch (“Friday Night Lights”); Shemar Moore (“Criminal Minds”); Skeet Ulrich (“Jericho”); Eric Mabius (“Ugly Betty”); Dave Annable (“Brothers & Sisters”).

Sexy sweeper

Naomi Campbell, in black stilettos and carrying dark work boots over her shoulder, traded the catwalk for community service Monday at a New York City sanitation garage.

The 36-year-old supermodel will be pushing a broom or mop at the garage this week in connection with her guilty plea to misdemeanor assault for throwing a cell phone at her maid over a pair of missing jeans.

By the way, it’s the same sanitation depot where former Culture Club frontman Boy George performed his five-day community service stint on drug charges last August.

Snakes on a plane?

Cate Blanchett (“The Aviator”) is in negotiations to star opposite Harrison Ford in the long-awaited fourth installment of the “Indiana Jones” series.

Filming is scheduled to begin later this year, with Steven Spielberg on board to direct and “Star Wars” creator George Lucas as producer.

‘X’ marks the spots

On the small screen, David Duchovny, who starred as special agent Fox Mulder in “The X-Files,” will return to television this summer in a new, yet-to-be-titled Showtime comedy about a self-destructive writer.

And guest stars for the final season of “The Sopranos,” due April 8, include Nancy Sinatra, Geraldo Rivera, Sydney Pollack, Daniel Baldwin, Tim Daly and Julianna Margulies.

Immaterial witness?

Tales of “Madonna Dearest” will remain under wraps – at least for now.

Crown Publishing has pulled the plug on a reportedly “explosive” tell-all being penned by the pop superstar’s former nanny.

Madonna’s lawyers had reportedly pressured the publisher to drop the book, which was expected to dish on the singer’s marriage to film director Guy Ritchie, her iron-fisted household rules and the controversial adoption of her Malawian son.
