Man robbed, injured at home
Three men stormed into a North Spokane man’s home early Thursday, cut his neck and stole his car.
The 28-year-old victim was taken to the hospital for stitches after the home invasion robbery, which happened shortly after midnight in the 2200 block of Northwest Boulevard, near Audubon Park.
According to Spokane police, the man answered a knock at the door, and the trio forced their way inside.
It appears the victim was specifically targeted by the alleged attackers, said Spokane police Sgt. Joe Peterson.
Two collected some of the man’s possessions, including his car keys, while the third held a knife to the victim’s throat, police said.
The victim described one of his attackers as white, about 5-foot-5, 150 pounds with dark hair.
The car was a white 1992 Infiniti.
