Nick and Shirley Skok

Valley, Wash.

Nick and Shirley Skok celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary with an open house at the American Legion Hall in Chewelah, Wash., on March 3.

Hosts for the event included their children: Julie Turner, Spring, Texas; Janis Carper, Enterprise, Ore.; and Steve Skok, Bothell, Wash.

The couple were married March 3, 1957, in Jump off Joe, Wash. They have five grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
