Pool meeting tonight

The last of three workshops on upgrades to Spokane Valley swimming pools will be held from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m., tonight, at Broadway Elementary.

Using money Spokane County originally set aside to replace Valley Mission Pool, the city of Spokane Valley plans to add more deck space and amenities to Park Road, Valley Mission and Terrace View pools.

Parks officials and architects are seeking more information on what kinds of things people would like to see installed. Possible improvements include spray toys, slides, lazy rivers and other features.

The school is at 11016 E. Broadway Ave.
