Danny DeVito is taking an embarrassing moment on “The View” and turning it into his own brand of limoncello, a lemon-flavored liqueur.

The 62-year-old actor-director made a loopy appearance on the ABC daytime talk show last November, saying he’d had a late night out with George Clooney.

“I knew it was the last seven limoncellos that was going to get me,” DeVito said on the show.

DeVito – who was promoting his new comedy, “Deck the Halls” – slurred his speech and used some bad language when joking about President Bush, among other gaffes.

When Clooney was later asked how much was consumed, he replied: “A lot. … I got to the point where I was dumping the shots into, ah, you know, a plant next to me and, um, I don’t think … I don’t think Danny saw me do that.”

Danny DeVito’s Premium Limoncello was unveiled Monday at the Wine and Spirits Wholesalers of America Annual Convention in Orlando, Fla.

The 60-proof liqueur, to be officially launched later this year, is the “best limoncello you ever tasted,” DeVito said in a statement.

Gather Moss, bounce Bundchen

Hundreds of shoppers lined up in London for a sneak peek at supermodel Kate Moss‘ new collection for British fashion retailer Topshop, with Moss posing briefly in a store window in a flowing orange dress.

But it’s all over between Gisele Bundchen and Victoria’s Secret, with the lingerie line announcing that its partnership with the Brazilian supermodel “has reached a conclusion.” No further details were provided.

Giving J.Lo grades

Singer Marc Anthony says that one of the husbandly duties he performs for singer wife Jennifer Lopez is acting as fashion consultant.

“I pick out all her dresses, for the most part,” Anthony says, adding: “I’m the Simon Cowell of my household – really honest.”

Rising above it all

Singer R. Kelly has written a new song, “Rise Up,” about healing in the aftermath of the April 16 shootings at Virginia Tech.

The song will be available digitally on May 15, with 100 percent of the net proceeds going to the Hokie Spirit Memorial Fund.

Kelly, meanwhile, still faces child pornography charges for allegedly engaging in videotaped sex acts with an underage girl.

There it goes, the mistrial

Miss America Lauren Nelson has changed her mind and agreed to testify against men caught in an undercover sex sting that used her for bait.

As part of an “America’s Most Wanted” television episode, Nelson posed online as a teen girl and lured 11 unsuspecting men into the hands of the police in Suffolk County, N.Y.

But prosecutors grew concerned when the Oklahoma resident initially said she did not plan to return to Long Island to testify.
