Hometown: I was born and raised in Coeur d’Alene, and I’ve been living in the Wolf Lodge area for 24 years.

Occupation: I work for Kootenai County as a legal assistant.

Family: My husband, Russell, and our daughter, Laura, 25, who teaches in Mountain Home, Idaho. My dad, Harold Thomas, also lives here.

Hobbies: Fishing, horseback riding and river floating.

What do you like about North Idaho? What’s not to like?

What do you like or dislike about the current season? I don’t like the bugs that come out in the spring and summer.

Favorite music: Rock ‘n’ roll from the ‘70s. That includes Head East, Blue Oyster Cult and singer-songwriter B.W. Stevens. I also like Neil Diamond.

Favorite TV show: “The Closer”

Favorite movie: “Rooster Cogburn and the Lady”

Favorite spot in North Idaho? Why? The St. Joe River, where I float and fish. It’s beautiful, peaceful, just a wonderful place to be.
