Gary and Kathryn Welch will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary with an open house at their home today.

Hosts for the event include their children: Ranita Adams, Harrington, Wash.; Polly Paolozzi, Pahrump, Nev.; and Rowdy Welch and Richard Welch, both of Spokane.

The couple were married May 19, 1957, in Miami, Okla. They have seven grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
