From Staff Reports The Spokesman-Review

POST FALLS – Nearly 3,000 tickets have been sold for the North Idaho College Foundation’s 14th annual Really BIG Raffle for a $300,000 custom home, which will be open to the public at an open house from noon to 4 p.m. on Sunday.

The chance to qualify for two additional early bird prizes ends May 31. This year’s early bird prizes include a $500 Costco gift card and a two-night bed and breakfast getaway valid at any member of the North Idaho Bed and Breakfast Association.

The custom home is under construction by NIC carpentry students at 1649 Umpqua Court in Post Falls in the Montrose subdivision. It is a multilevel home with more than 3,400 square feet of living space. The house includes many upgrades and features a three-car garage, composite deck, gas fireplace and a landscaped corner lot.

Other prizes include the first-prize $20,000 car, a second-prize $10,000 boat, a third-prize $3,500 travel package and fourth-prize $2,000 shopping spree.

Tickets are $100 each and only 5,000 tickets will be sold before the July 11 drawing.

Tickets are available at the open house. Idaho residents can charge tickets by phone or order them online. Proceeds benefit educational needs at NIC.
