Spirit dinner train no longer running

Following a brief resurrection, the Spirit of Washington Dinner Train has again ceased operations.

The train, based in Renton from 1992 until earlier this year, began a trial run out of Tacoma in August. But ticket sales were lower and operating expenses higher than expected, company officials said.
