Katelyn Loper tossed in a game-high 15 points to lead the Post Falls Trojans to a 58-33 Inland Empire League victory over the Moscow Bears on Tuesday night in Post Falls.

Jenny McVeigh added 11 points and Jordan Schoening hit a pair of 3-pointers on her way to 10 points for the Trojans (1-0).

Timena Scebala topped the Bears (0-1) with 12 points.

In non-league games, Cassie Thompson scored a game-high 28 points to propel the Timberlake Tigers (1-0) to a 50-40 victory over the visiting Kootenai Warriors (0-1). Haleigh Frank scored 13 to pace Kootenai. … Maria Bush hit a pair of fourth-quarter 3-pointers on her way to a game-high 17 points to power the Kellogg Wildcats (1-1) to a 45-33 road win over the Lakeland Hawks (0-1).
