Rookie leads Blues past Red Wings

Rookie David Perron scored twice in St. Louis’ four-goal second period and the Blues rallied from two down to beat the Detroit Red Wings 4-3 Tuesday night in St. Louis.

Thrashers 3, Panthers 2 (OT): At Atlanta, Ilya Kovalchuk scored in the first minute of overtime, 27 seconds after teammate Marian Hossa forced the extra period with a power-play goal, as the Thrashers nipped Florida.

Canadiens 4, Maple Leafs 3 (OT): At Toronto, defenseman Mike Komisarek scored 35 seconds into overtime to lift Montreal over the Maple Leafs.

Flames 3, Wild 2: At Calgary, Alberta, Kristian Huselius scored with 53 seconds remaining to lift Calgary over Minnesota.

Ducks 4, Kings 3 (SO): At Anaheim, Calif., Andy McDonald scored the clinching goal in a shootout for the second straight game and Anaheim beat Los Angeles.
