Auditions

“The Hoboken Chicken Emergency” – Spokane Children’s Theatre, Sunday, 2 p.m. and Monday, 6 p.m. at the Spokane Community College Lair Auditorium, 1810 N. Classes and workshops

Christmas Crafts Workshop – Work with local artists to create a bracelet, precious metal clay beads and/or polymer clay gift tags, Saturday, 1-4 p.m. at The Tinman Gallery, 811 W. Garland. Allow one hour per project. Cost: $30/bracelet, $15/beads, $5/gift tags, $40/all three. Call (509) 325-1500.

Arts Legal Clinic – For artists in need of legal advice on copyright, fair use and contract issues, hosted by the Washington Lawyers for the Arts, Monday, 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. at the Gonzaga University Legal Clinic, 721 N. Cincinnati. Cost: $20. Appointments required. Call (206) 328-7053.

Moscow Arts Planning Meeting – Community arts organizations are invited to this meeting hosted by the Moscow City Arts Office to discuss upcoming events, Tuesday, 10 a.m.-noon at the Moscow City Hall Council Chambers. Call (208) 883-7036.

Spokane Authors and Self-Publishers – Author Anne Mini will speak on how to avoid common mistakes that get manuscripts rejected, next Thursday at 11:30 a.m. at the Old Country Buffet, 5504 N. Division. Free for members, $15 for nonmembers. Lunch purchase required. Call (509) 233-8051.

Call for artists

Pedals2People – Photographers are needed for a display of photos of bikes or photos taken from bikes at The Scoop, 1001 W. 25th, in December and January. The photos will be offered for sale at the end of the exhibit. The deadline is Monday. Photos can be dropped off at The Scoop or e-mailed to pedals2people@gmail.com. Call (509) 710-9611.

Pottery Place Plus – Applications are being accepted from fine craft artists in any medium for one temporary and one permanent membership. Applications are also being accepted for the monthly guest artist program. Call (509) 220-5706 for an application.

Art Works Gallery – The cooperative gallery in Sandpoint is seeking new artist members. Call the gallery at (208) 263-2642.

ArtReach – Artists are needed to teach in the Spokane Art School’s ArtReach program, which offers ongoing off-site classes in cooperation with local after-school programs. Submit a resume and current work samples at the school, 920 N. Howard. Call (509) 328-0900, ext. 203.

Colville Arts Foundation – Artists and crafters are needed to provide work for display at Colville City Hall and the Colville Chamber of Commerce. Artists must install their own exhibit and no commissions are taken. Call (509) 684-3002.
