Women of Worth Conference

The 2007 Women of Worth Conference, titled “Let Your Life Count: You Make a Difference,” will be next Saturday at the Chewelah Peak Learning Center near 49 Degrees North.

The conference begins at 8:30 a.m. and ends at 3 p.m. The featured speaker is Christian author Donna Partow, and soloist Lindsey Tucker will perform.

The cost is $30, which includes lunch. Child care will be available for infants through age 10.

Mission conference

Learn about missions around the world at a conference hosted by New Hope Bible Church on Sunday and Monday.

The theme of the event is “Understanding the World’s Need.” It will feature speakers from New Tribes Missions, Wycliffe Mission, Evangelical Baptist Mission and Moody Aviation.

Sessions will run from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Sunday and from 7 to 9 p.m. Monday at New Hope, 1445 N. Argonne Road.

Admission is free, and all are welcome. Those attending the Sunday session will receive a lunch.

There will be missionary presentations for children ages 4 through the sixth grade. Child care will be available for younger children.
