Carl Gidlund Correspondent

Name: Craig Ziegler

Age: 57

Hometown: I was born in Coulee Dam, but moved to Coeur d’Alene at age 4.

Occupation: I’m a funeral director and mortician at Yates Funeral Home in Coeur d’Alene.

Family: I’m divorced, but have four grown children.

Hobbies: I’m a reader, but also an avid golfer. I also enjoy camping and boating, and also enjoy playing most sports and being a spectator at sporting events.

What do you like about North Idaho? Its beauty, of course, and I like the relatively small town atmosphere of Coeur d’Alene.

What do you like or dislike about the current season? I love the sun and don’t like the fact that summer is so short.

Favorite music: 60’s and 70’s soft rock.

Favorite TV show: Just about everything on ESPN, especially football and baseball.

Favorite movie: “The Godfather”

Favorite spot in North Idaho? Why? It’s a spot up the North Fork of the Coeur d’Alene River. Two of my sisters and I are partners in an RV camp there.
