Ferris’ boys (5-4) defeated Shadle Park (2-6) and Lewis and Clark (5-3) in a Greater Spokane League meet at Shadle. Ferris’ Adam Thorne was the individual champion, finishing the 3-mile course in 15 minutes, 31 seconds. . LC (6-2) won the girls portion of the meet. Sophomore Andrea Nelson finished first in 18:07 for Shadle (3-5), while LC’s Elinor Siler finished second in 18:53.
