Bryant trade still a possibility
Kobe Bryant may get his wish after all.
Los Angeles Lakers owner Jerry Buss said he would consider trading Bryant, the NBA’s scoring leader the past two seasons, under the right circumstances.
“I would certainly listen,” Buss said on Wednesday. “At any time, I think you have to do that with anybody. It’s just part of the game, to listen to somebody who has a dissatisfied player that you think is going to fit.”
The Lakers’ star erupted in anger late last May, complaining about a lack of talent around him and asking to be traded.
Bryant has four years worth $88.6 million left on the seven-year contract.

Handy tips for psycho fans
Warren St. John has just released the handy-dandy “ESPN Guide to Psycho Fan Behavior” (ESPN, $14.95 paperback), which he edited.
To get you fired up for your team’s next big game, here are a few of his tips:
Rearing a future fan: Nothing brainwashes a child like forcing him or her to bear the name of your team’s head coach.
Taunting an opponent: Do your homework before you heckle. If you want to rank on a player’s mama, try to confirm that she’s still alive.
Gloating about an apparent win: Never, ever brag about the game before it’s over. Even if your team is up 72-10 with a minute left to play. The sports gods will find some sort of 64-point play with which to punish that kind of hubris.
Tearing down a goal post: Once on the bar, you’ll need to bounce and twist in an exaggerated fashion. You might be on TV at this moment, so smile.
Paying your last respects: The hard-core fan has a loved one spread his ashes on the field during a game. The psycho fan has his ashes mixed with the team’s Gatorade so he can really “get into the game for once.”
