This fall, Inland Northwest Health Services gave area women a good reason to clean out their closets – charity. And thanks to the annual INHS clothing sale this weekend, high school girls looking for that perfect prom dress, or women in need of a power suit for that job interview will have a chance to reap the rewards.

This Friday and Saturday, INHS will host the fourth annual Wardrobes for Women event at Spokane Community College. The quality and professional clothing sale benefits the INHS Foundation by raising money for St. Luke’s Rehabilitation Institute, Community Health Education Resource (CHER), Northwest MedStar and the family of services provided by INHS.

Donated quality professional and casual clothes, shoes, handbags and accessories will be available for sale at discounted prices.

One of Wardrobes for Women’s main goals is to offer quality prom and social occasion dresses for local high school girls. Prom and other high school dances are significant events in the lives of young adults, though they can often be expensive. For young women, the most expensive part of such occasions is usually the dress.

As part of the fundraising effort, Wardrobes for Women offered students the opportunity to donate old dresses in exchange for attending an exclusive Thursday evening “sneak preview” of the clothing items at the sale. For every dress donated, students receive a $20 credit coupon toward the purchase of another item or dress.
