Prep Roundup: Sandpoint stays hot, tops LC
The Sandpoint volleyball team remained unbeaten in the Inland Empire League with a 25-15, 25-17, 21-25, 25-20 win over Lake City (2-2) Tuesday in Sandpoint.
Abby Helander had a match-high six aces and 26 digs to lead the Bulldogs (3-0), who were coming off a first-place finish at the Walla Walla Tournament over the weekend.
Elsewhere in the IML, Kara Brigham had eight kills and 14 digs, leading Lewiston (2-2) to a 25-17, 23-25, 25-21, 25-16 win over visiting Lakeland (1-2).
