Women’s Gift Alliance awards grant to Family Promise
Family Promise of North Idaho has been awarded a $250 grant from Women’s Gift Alliance in Partnership with ICF.
The funds will benefit North Idaho families who are temporarily without an income and in need of a job and safe place to stay.
“Kootenai Electric Cooperative‘s eighth annual Golf Classic recently raised $12,807 for Habitat for Humanity of North Idaho.
The tournament was held in July at Twin Lakes Village Golf Course near Rathdrum.
The annual KEC Golf Classic has raised more than $60,000 since 2001.
“Kootenai Electric Trust has disbursed $12,360 in third-quarter Operation Round Up grants to local groups or individuals. Recipients are:
Harrison Elementary School was awarded $2,500; John Brown Elementary in Rathdrum received $2,416; Post Falls Food Bank got $2,000; Coeur d’Alene School District’s Teen Aid Project was awarded $1,500; Big Brothers, Big Sisters received $1,500; Inland Northwest Council Boy Scouts of America was granted $1,285; North Idaho College’s Molstead library received $708.
