Driving us crazy

Assorted names are used to describe those USB connected devices that people use to store or transfer files. Most often they’re referred to as USB thumb drives or flash drives. Sadly, the devices are not true drives, so that name is wrong.

Here is a quick and incomplete list of the names used for the same thing: jump drive, UFD (for USB flash drive), memory sticks, compact drives, or USB key drive.
