Robert and Loris Creel celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary with an open house at the home of their daughter and son-in-law, Bonnie and Richard Hedquist, Spokane, on Saturday.

Other hosts for the event included their children and spouses: Tara and Lonn Ostlind, and Bonnie and Richard Hedquist, all of Spokane; Cheryl and Dave Sontag, and Garry Creel, all of Nine Mile Falls; Barbara and Bill Seabolt, Tulsa, Okla.; and Janet and John LaFara, Edinburg, Texas.

The couple were married Sept. 4, 1947, in Spokane. They have 18 grandchildren, 34 great-grandchildren and 16 great-great-grandchildren.
