Occupation: I own the White Horse Saloon and hotel and the Hideaway Restaurant here in Spirit Lake.

Family: I’m married to Duke and have two sons, Josh who lives in Memphis, Tenn., and Mike who lives in Hayden.

Hobbies: Golf, and I like to ride my horse, too.

What do you like about North Idaho? The weather here. There’s no wind.

What do you like or dislike about the current season? I don’t care much for winter. There are fewer jobs and hardly any tourists. I like the variety of people that are here in the summer.

Favorite Movie: “Forrest Gump”

Favorite Spot in North Idaho? Why? Twin Lakes Golf Course. It’s quaint and beautiful.
