Astros 5, Cardinals 3: At Houston, Miguel Tejada’s two-run homer in the bottom of the ninth gave the Astros a win over St. Louis, snapping a five game winning streak for the Cardinals.
Marlins 10, Nationals 7: At Washington, Hanley Ramirez, Dan Uggla and Robert Andino homered, four relievers combined for 5 2/3 innings of one-run ball, and Florida beat the Nationals to stay atop the East.
Rockies 2, Braves 1: At Denver, Matt Holliday hit a two-run home run in the bottom of the eighth, Aaron Cook pitched seven strong innings and Colorado snapped a five-game losing streak with a win over Atlanta.
Diamondbacks 9, Dodgers 3: At Phoenix, Mark Reynolds hit two of Arizona’s four home runs, and the Diamondbacks won their home opener over Los Angeles to stretch their winning streak to four games.
