Kristan Blackhart exchanged wedding vows with Erik West in an Aug. 19 ceremony at Kitsap Memorial State Park in Poulsbo, Wash.

The bride is the daughter of Brad Blackhart, and Ron and Elaine Syth, all of Spokane. The groom is the son of Hans and Kathleen West, Salem, Ore.

A reception was held at the wedding site. The couple are living in Seattle after a honeymoon in St. Lucia.

The bride is a graduate of the University of Washington and works as a fisheries biologist. The groom, also a graduate of UW, is an acoustics engineer for Boeing in Everett.
