The Chapel of the Three Companions at Gonzaga Prep was the setting for the July 7 wedding of Sarah Lawhead and Geoffrey Arte.

The bride is the daughter of J.F. and Nancy Lawhead, Spokane. The groom is the son of Michael and Mary Arte, Spokane.

A reception was held at the Gonzaga Prep Student Center. The couple are living in Spokane after a honeymoon on the San Juan Islands.

The bride, a graduate of Eastern Washington University, is a teacher at St. Paschal Catholic School. The groom, who graduated from Regis University in Denver, is a teacher at Central Valley High School.
