Diamondbacks 4, Rockies 2: At Denver, Randy Johnson pitched six solid innings and singled in a run, Adam Dunn had a double in his Arizona debut and the Diamondbacks beat Colorado. Johnson allowed two runs and five hits, struck out seven and walked one to earn the 294th win of his career.

Mets 4, Nationals 3: At Washington, Damion Easley drove in the go-ahead run when he was hit by a pitch with the bases loaded in the eighth inning to lead New York over the Nationals. Johan Santana earned his elusive 10th win of the season when Pedro Feliciano worked a scoreless ninth for his third career save.

Dodgers 4, Phillies 3: At Los Angeles, Andre Ethier singled home Russell Martin with one out in the bottom of the ninth inning and the Dodgers beat Philadelphia.

Brewers 5, Padres 2: At San Diego, Prince Fielder hit a three-run homer and Jeff Suppan pitched eight strong innings and Milwaukee topped the Padres for its seventh straight victory.

Marlins 4, Cardinals 3: At Miami, Hanley Ramirez hit a three-run homer and Florida rallied from a 3-0 deficit to beat St. Louis.

Astros 12, Giants 4: At Houston, Lance Berkman hit a grand slam in an eight-run seventh inning and the Astros beat San Francisco for their sixth straight victory.

Reds 5, Pirates 1: At Pittsburgh, Brandon Phillips and Javier Valentin hit home runs to lead Cincinnati over the Pirates.

Cubs vs. Braves, ppd.: At Atlanta, Chicago’s game against the Braves was rained out and will be made up as part of a day-night doubleheader today.
