Catcher Zack Zaneski singled in third baseman Matt West for the go-ahead run with two outs in the top of the ninth inning as the Spokane Indians rallied to beat the Salem-Keizer Volcanoes 4-3 Monday night in a Northwest League showdown in Keizer, Ore.

Salem-Keizer (32-28) took a 3-0 lead in the fourth inning on a two-out three-run home run from catcher Johnny Monell.

The Indians (41-19) answered back in the fifth on an RBI single from Jacob Kaase that scored Dennis Guinn to make the score 3-1.

Ryan Schlecht (4-2) was awarded the win after pitching 21/3 innings with three strikeouts and no walks.

Trevor Hurley came in to close the ninth, earning his third save of the season.

The two teams will face off again tonight with the first pitch scheduled for 6:35.
