Spears misses the mark, duh
Britney Spears has cleared the record – well, somewhat.
When asked – during her 90-minute MTV documentary, “Britney: For the Record” – why she’d so infamously shaved her head, the just-turned-27-years-old pop singer said, “people shave their heads all the time.”
Uh, OK.
Here’s another mind-blowing quote: “I wish I wasn’t famous, so I could feel part of people.”
Riiiight.
About her inability to go out and party, she said, “There’s no excitement, there’s no passion, there’s no nothing. It’s just like ‘Groundhog Day’ every day, you know? So I’m really bored.”
And at one point, Spears looked straight at the camera to explain why she made the film: “I think I wanted to make the film because I wasn’t seen in the light I wanted to be seen in. I don’t know what light that is.”
Uh, refracted maybe?
Britney wins again – Yahoo!
Britney Spears was the most popular search term on Yahoo for the fourth year in a row – her seventh time topping the list.
Spears bested World Wrestling Entertainment, Barack Obama, Miley Cyrus and the online game “RuneScape” as the five most-searched terms of 2008. Jessica Alba, the anime series “Naruto,” Lindsay Lohan, Angelina Jolie and “American Idol” rounded out the top 10 list.
Hey, you, get offa Brad’s Cloud
Word wise to the celebrity paparazzi: Brad Pitt has no use for you. Some of you, anyway.
Speaking on the “Today” show, Pitt said, “Let me be very blunt: I hate them. I hate these people. I don’t understand … that they do that for a living.”
Pitt thinks HE has problems
Kirsten Dunst should give her assistant a raise. Said assistant performed a citizen’s arrest on a man who bypassed security and showed up at the actress’ North Hollywood home in November. Dunst was out at the time.
Dunst sought a restraining order against Christopher Smith after his Nov. 20 arrest. Documents show state police have found Smith at Dunst’s home several times in recent weeks.
Turns out Ivana’s the survivor
Surprise! Ivana Trump is having marital difficulties. Donald Trump’s ex-wife is on the outs with her fourth husband, Italian entrepreneur Rossano Rubicondi.
After six years of dating, the couple had tied the knot last April in a lavish ceremony at her ex-husband’s estate in Palm Beach, Fla.
Trump says she filed a legal separation agreement three months ago. Trump says she kept mum because she didn’t want to hurt Rubicondi’s chances as a contestant on the Italian edition of the reality show “Survivor.”
