Scarlett blows eBay auction

Scarlett Johansson (Associated Press / The Spokesman-Review)

Scarlett Johansson understands the value of her bodily fluids.

The 24-year-old actress demonstrated exactly that Thursday night on “The Tonight Show with Jay Leno.”

She told Leno that while doing publicity for the forthcoming film “Spirit,” in which she plays the character Silken Floss, she caught a cold from costar Samuel L. Jackson.

Then she blew her nose in a paper hanky and immediately proclaimed that she intended to sell the item on eBay. The proceeds, she said, would go to the hunger-relief organization USA Harvest.

“You got some lipstick and snot! We’re feeding people and I’m clearing my sinuses,” Johansson said.

At one point the bidding, which closed Monday, had reached $3,272. We’ll report the results as soon as they’re available.

Movie houses stay warm

Snow and cold kept the box-office totals down, but opening movies “Yes Man” and “Seven Pounds” claimed the two top spots over the weekend. “Yes Man” (starring Jim Carrey) claimed $18.2 million, “Seven Pounds” (starring Will Smith) $16 million. The big surprise, though, was the Mickey Rourke vehicle “The Wrestler,” which took in $209,474 while playing at just four theaters.

Real-life rehab next for rocker

Celebrity rehab doesn’t seem to be the real thing. Television viewers watched rocker Steven Adler, one-time drummer for Guns N’ Roses, emerge from rehab Thursday for VH1’s show “Celebrity Rehab with Dr. Drew.”

But a day later a Los Angeles court commissioner placed Adler, who had missed a court appearance while in celeb rehab, in a state-sanctioned drug-rehab program.

Harmon scores three of a kind

Angie Harmon played a tough prosecutor on “Law & Order.” Now she’s a three-time mom. Harmon, 36, who is married to former NFL player Jason Sehorn, 37, delivered her third daughter, Emery Hope Sehorn, last Thursday.

Nobody loves paparazzi

Brad Garrett may act like a jerk sometimes, but that’s on television. In real life, battery charges against the former “Everybody Loves Raymond” costar have been dropped.

The video cameraman, who confronted Garrett, 48, outside a West Hollywood restaurant in November, claimed the actor pushed him and broke his camera.

Quotable quote

Brad Pitt on turning 45 (which happened last Thursday): “Am I in midlife? Am I halfway there? Do I have 10 years, five years? And so what are those moments going to be that I do know I have, which is now?”
