Cowperthwaite-Carnes

Denise Carnes, Spokane, and Jeremy Cowperthwaite, Athol, Idaho, plan to marry Feb. 29.

The bride-to-be is the daughter of Iris Carnes, Spokane, and Robert Carnes, Nashville, Tenn. The groom-to-be is the son of Dan and Susan Cowperthwaite, Athol.

A graduate of Interface College, Carnes works as an administrative assistant. Cowperthwaite is employed as a field service technician.

Druffel-Anderson

Jacquelyn Anderson, Spokane, and Dusty Druffel, Pullman, plan to marry July 12.

Jeff and Janey Anderson, Spokane, are parents of the bride-to-be. The groom-to-be is the son of Roy Druffel, Pullman, and the late Cindy Druffel.

Anderson, a graduate of Washington State University Veterinary School, is completing her internship as an equine veterinarian at Pioneer Equine Hospital in Oakdale, Calif. A graduate of Washington State University, Druffel is employed in sports management for a professional soccer team in Stockton, Calif.

Donaldson-Berman

Ariel Berman and Alexander Donaldson, both of Seattle, plan to marry July 26.

The bride-to-be is the daughter of Harvey and Beth Berman, Spokane. Richard and Loretta Donaldson, Spokane, are the parents of the groom-to-be.

A graduate of Evergreen State College, Berman works as a program manager at Junior Achievement in Seattle. Donaldson, who graduated from the University of Washington, is employed at Pacific Northwest Laboratory in Seattle as a scientist.

Mendes-Foss

Kara Foss and Daniel Mendes, both of Seattle, plan to marry Sept. 6.

The bride-to-be is the daughter of Kris Foss, Spokane. Dennis and Miletta Mendes, Spokane Valley, are the parents of the groom-to-be.

A graduate of Washington State University, Foss works as a flight attendant in Seattle. Mendes, who graduated from the University of Idaho, is employed as a health, safety and environmental analyst in Seattle.

Dockrey-Thompson

Megan Thompson, Hayden, Idaho, and Christopher Dockrey, Liberty Lake, plan to marry May 22, 2009.

Karl and Jean Thompson, Hayden, Idaho, are parents of the bride-to-be. The groom-to-be is the son of Pat and Linda Dockrey, Liberty Lake.

Thompson and Dockrey are both graduates of the University of Idaho and the University of Wollongong in New South Wales, Australia.
