Sam Hiatt had 18 points and seven steals as fourth-seeded Bonners Ferry (10-11) shocked top-seeded Priest River 49-44 Wednesday night in Idaho 3A District I tournament play at Lakeland HS.

Camille Robertson added 13 points and 10 rebounds for the Badgers, who will play Kellogg (16-2) at 7:30 tonight at Lakeland High in Rathdrum for a state berth. PR defeated BF by 20 and eight points during the regular season. PR (17-3) will meet St. Maries (11-8) at 6 tonight at Lakeland in a loser-out game. … In the earlier game, Amanda Seeling scored 22 points as Kellogg defeated St. Maries 51-42.

•Cusick and Almira/Coulee-Hartline moved within one win of the State 1B tournament by winning semifinals at the District 7 1B tournament. Traci Miller had 16 points, eight rebounds and three steals as Cusick (15-5) defeated visiting Inchelium 45-41. Sarah Gloyn scored 13 of her 19 points in the fourth quarter to guide ACH (10-11) to a 54-37 win over Curlew at Hartline. Cusick and ACH will play for a state berth at 7 p.m. Feb. 15 at Deer Park High. In loser-out games at 6:45 p.m. Saturday, Curlew (12-10) will play St. Michael’s at Riverside High, and Inchelium (11-9) will meet Northport at Deer Park.

Sara Taulaki had 19 points, nine rebounds and seven assists, and Holly Howard added 17 points and eight rebounds as Springdale (16-5) defeated Wilbur-Creston 64-43 in District 7 2B play at Reardan. Springdale will play Northwest Christian at 6:45 p.m. today at Spokane Falls Community College for a regional berth. W-C (12-8) will meet Liberty at 6:45 p.m. today at Spokane Community College in a loser-out game.

Kayte Holm totaled 17 points, six rebounds, five steals and four assists to lead Riverside (9-8, 3-8) to a 60-41 Great Northern League win at Deer Park (1-14, 1-8). … Also in the GNL, West Valley’s game at Clarkston was postponed by weather conditions and rescheduled for 5:45 p.m. on Feb. 16.

Katie Redman had 13 rebounds and Bridget Bower added four steals as Garfield-Palouse (15-3, 9-3) defeated Rosalia 45-38 in Palouse to complete the Whitman County League season. In the league tournament at Endicott, Gar-Pal will play Tekoa-Oakesdale (13-7) at 4 p.m. Friday. The winner will meet Colton (17-2) at 6 p.m. Saturday for the tourney title. Rosalia (11-9, 3-9) will meet LaCrosse-Washtucna (11-9) at 4 p.m. today in a loser-out game.

•The Idaho 4A Region I game between Moscow and host Sandpoint was postponed by weather conditions until 7 p.m. today. The winner will play Lakeland on Friday.

Haleigh Frank scored nine of her 13 points in the fourth quarter as Kootenai (7-12) defeated Clark Fork 33-26 in Idaho 1A District I play at Timberlake High in Spirit Lake. Kristin Hartmann and Taylor Pasley scored 10 points apiece in Wallace’s 39-33 win over Lakeside. Kootenai will meet Wallace (5-13) at 7:45 p.m. today at Timberlake for the title. CF (11-10) will play Lakeside (9-9) at 6 in a loser-out game.

Boys

Northwest Christian and St. George’s qualified for the regional tournament by winning semifinals at the District 7 2B tournament at SFCC. Chase Ramey scored 17 points and Cameron Stephens had six rebounds and three assists to lead NWC (20-1) to a 55-43 win over Lind-Ritzville (17-4). Henry Butler finished with 18 points, seven rebounds, four assists and four steals as St. George’s (20-2) defeated Reardan 53-40 for its 19th consecutive win. Ryan Schulz had 17 points, five steals and four rebounds for the Indians (18-3). NWC and St. George’s will meet for the district title at 5:45 p.m. Saturday at SFCC. Friday at SFCC, L-R will play Wellpinit (14-8) at 3 p.m. and Reardan will meet Selkirk (13-9) at 6 p.m. for regional berths. The losers will have a final shot at a regional spot on Saturday. … In district games at SCC, T.J. Flett scored 13 of his 18 points in the first quarter as Wellpinit built a 16-point lead and held off Wilbur-Creston 48-46. Colton Berg scored 15 of his 24 points in the second half for the Wildcats (9-12), who were eliminated. … Trevor Turpin’s putback at the buzzer gave Selkirk a 62-60 win over Davenport (10-12) in a loser-out game. D.W. Daley had three 3-pointers in the fourth quarter for Selkirk.

Kevin McNeil scored 17 points, including a last-second shot in regulation, and Deer Park (8-7, 3-6) rallied from a 13-point, third-quarter deficit to post a 58-55 Great Northern League win over visiting Riverside (7-10, 2-9). Bran Rumann had nine rebounds for the Stags, who hit 5 of 6 free throws in overtime to hold on. … Also in the GNL, West Valley’s game at Clarkston was postponed by weather conditions and rescheduled for 4 p.m. on Feb. 16.

Todd Pinter accounted for 17 points and six rebounds as Garfield-Palouse (15-4, 9-3) defeated visiting Rosalia 55-50 at Palouse to finish tied for first place in the Whitman County League. Gar-Pal owns the tiebreaker over Tekoa-Oakesdale (14-6, 9-3) and will play for the league tournament title at 4 p.m. Saturday at Endicott. No. 2 T-O will play No. 3 Rosalia (14-6, 8-4) at 2 p.m. Friday at Endicott for a title-game berth against Gar-Pal.
