Vaclav Prospal scored at 58 seconds of overtime to give the Tampa Bay Lightning a 2-1 win over the Nashville Predators on Thursday night in Nashville, Tenn.

The Predators were 0 for 2 on the power play. They have scored just one power-play goal in their past six games, going 1 for 21 over the stretch.

Kings 5, Red Wings 3: At Detroit, Brad Stuart scored the go-ahead goal at 6:15 of the third period and Los Angeles rallied from a two-goal deficit to beat the Red Wings.

Canucks 2, Thrashers 1: At Atlanta, Alex Burrows’ goal midway through the third period completed a rare third-period rally for Vancouver and the Canucks defeated the Thrashers.

Ducks 4, Rangers 1: At New York, Corey Perry and Chris Kunitz scored 1:27 apart to break open a tight game in the second period, and Anaheim beat the Rangers.

Maple Leafs 4, Canadiens 2: At Montreal, Darcy Tucker scored his second goal of the game into an empty net and Vesa Toskala made 34 saves as Toronto got three unanswered goals for a win over the Canadiens.

Penguins 3, Islanders 2: At Pittsburgh, Ryan Whitney had two goals and Kris Letang scored the game-winner with 3:39 to play as the Penguins beat New York.

Stars 1, Wild 0: At St. Paul, Minn., Mike Smith stopped 25 shots, Niklas Hagman scored early in the third period, and Dallas beat Minnesota.

Senators 5, Panthers 4: At Ottawa, Dany Heatley had two goals and an assist in his return from a shoulder injury and the Senators beat Florida.

Blue Jackets 2, Coyotes 1: At Glendale, Ariz., Jason Chimera and Nikolai Zherdev scored early in the first period to lead Columbus over Phoenix.

Blackhawks 3, Flames 1: At Calgary, Alberta, Nikolai Khabibulin made 26 saves and Chicago beat the Flames.

Duncan Keith, Patrick Sharp, and Yanic Perreault scored for Chicago.
