Auditions

“Showstoppers” – Children ages 7 to 15 can audition for the Broadway-style revue Tuesdayfrom 4-8 p.m. at Northern Quest Casino, 100 N. Hayford Road. Auditioners should be prepared to sing a Broadway song; an accompanist will be provided. Performance dates: April 3-13. Call (509) 242-7000.

Drawing Workshop – Pencil, marker and watercolor techniques will be taught by Mike Lin on Friday and Saturday, 9 a.m.-6 p.m. at Ensminger Pavilion, Washington State University, Pullman. Art on the Green – Artists are invited to enter the poster design contest for Coeur d’Alene’s 40th annual Art on the Green. Posters should be 12 by 16 inches and include the information “40th Annual Art on the Green, Aug. 1st, 2nd and 3rd, 2008, on the grounds of North Idaho College. The Citizen’s Council for the Arts.” The council’s logo should also appear on the poster, which should be unframed. The deadline is March 24; the winner will receive $600. 2008 Moscow Art Walk – Accepting applications for this year’s event, opening June 13. Interested artists should submit five slides or digital images on a labeled CD along with an application form. Artists Loose on the Palouse – Artists are invited to apply for a booth at a two-day art festival hosted by On Sacred Grounds in Valleyford on July 18-19. Art and handmade crafts can be in any media. Orient/Inchelium/Valley Arts Consortium – Local visual artists, musicians, dancers, actors and others are needed to present programs to students in Northeastern Washington’s Orient, Inchelium and Valley school districts. Call for musicians
