Hood Canal, Wash.

Marissa Chivers exchanged wedding vows with Kyle Deerkop in a Nov. 29 ceremony at Thurston County Hall in Olympia.

The bride is the daughter of Kelly and Pamela Chivers, Nine Mile Falls. Dale and Tammy Deerkop, Princeton, Idaho, are the parents of the groom.

A reception was held in Harvard, Idaho. The couple are living in Hood Canal after a honeymoon in Sitka, Alaska.

A graduate of Sheldon Jackson College in Sitka, the bride works as a logger in Glacier, Wash. The groom is also a graduate of Sheldon and is a director at Taylor Shellfish Farms in Shelton, Wash.
