Making her 30th A night to remember
I t was the perfect time and place for a special birthday party.
Tin Roof Furniture proprietor Heather Hanley wanted to celebrate her 30th birthday in style. So, with the help of friends, she decked out the street level space that will soon be the location of her downtown furniture store. With a black and white theme, Hanley invited guests to dress up and gather. The music was loud and the food was delicious.
Partygoers danced and chatted and watched vintage movies projected onto the wall.
“It’s my night,” Hanley said as she sat on one of the sofas decorating the room and opened a gift.
All in all, the night was the perfect antidote to sloppy, slushy streets and winter’s gray skies.
I vote for many happy returns.
