Penalties hurt Chiefs

The Spokesman-Review

It’s not good that the Chiefs play hockey as defined by the acronym SPOKANE: “Stupid Penalties Only Kill All Nice Efforts.”

The coaching staff needs to address this issue and concentrate on team playmaking, passing, defensive strategy, stick-handling and stressing no penalties.

The game is spoiled by constant fighting, roughing by goons, lack of good playmaking and honest team effort. Coach Bill Peters needs to stop the belly-aching in the press and dressing rooms and start addressing the team efforts noted above.
