Auditions

“The Friendly Enemy” – Spokane Community College, today and Friday, 1:30-4 p.m. at the SCC Lair Auditorium, 1810 N. Greene St. Needed: adult men and women, two children ages 5-8 and nonsinging extras for crowd scenes. Auditioners must be able to sing and dance. Call (509) 533-7000.

North Idaho College Concert Choir – Community members may audition for the ensemble, Tuesday at 7 p.m. at Schuler Performing Arts Center on the NIC campus in Coeur d’Alene. Auditions will include pitch-matching exercises and sight reading. Call (208) 769-3275.

“The Adventures of Nate the Great” – Spokane Children’s Theatre, 2 p.m., Jan. 20 and 6 p.m., Jan. 21 at the Spokane Community College Lair Auditorium, 1810 N. Greene St. Needed: eight to 10 boys and eight to 10 girls ages 6-15. Auditioners will read from the script. Call (509) 328-4886.

“Crimes of the Heart” – Spokane Civic Theatre, 6:30 p.m. Jan. 21 and 22 at the theater, 1020 N. Howard. Needed: three women appearing age 21-30, one woman appearing age 30-35 and two men appearing age 21-35. Auditioners will read cold from the script. Performance dates are March 7-30. 2008 Twining Humber Award – Artist Trust is seeking nominations for the annual award for lifetime artistic achievement by female Washington state artists age 60 or older. The deadline is Jan. 25. Orient/Inchelium/Valley Arts Consortium – Local visual artists, musicians, dancers, actors and others are needed to present programs to students in Northeastern Washington’s Orient, Inchelium and Valley school districts.
