Parental guidance

The Spokesman-Review

“We haven’t built snowmen this year. But our 15-year-old son built a massive sledding hill in our front yard.

“Last night after we got the kids in bed my husband and I looked out the window at that steep slick hill and eyed the sleds propped by the front door.

” ‘You wanna?’ he asked.

” ‘Why not?’ said I. “We bundled up and had a blast zipping down the hill. After one particularly wild ride we looked up to see all four kids standing on the front steps.

” ‘Go Mom and Dad!’ they yelled.

“Good fun.

“However this morning I’m wishing we had a jacuzzi to soak our old bones in!

“How ‘bout you? How have you enjoyed the snow this year?” – Posted by Cindy H.
