Auditions

“The Adventures of Nate the Great” – Spokane Children’s Theatre, 2 p.m. Sunday and 6 p.m. Monday at the Spokane Community College Lair Auditorium, 1810 N. Greene St. Needed: eight to 10 boys and eight to 10 girls ages 6-15. Auditioners will read from the script. Call (509) 328-4886.

Pittsburgh Ballet Theatre School – Audition for the school’s intensive summer program, Jan. 26 at 2 p.m. at Ballet Arts Academy, 416 W. Sprague. Women must bring a full-body picture of themselves wearing black leotards, pink tights and pointe shoes posed in first arabesque. 2008 Twining Humber Award – Artist Trust is seeking nominations for the annual award for lifetime artistic achievement by female Washington state artists age 60 or older. The deadline is Jan. 25. Art on the Green – Artists are invited to enter the poster design contest for Coeur d’Alene’s 40th annual Art on the Green. Posters should be 12-by-16 inches and include the information “40th Annual Art on the Green, Aug. 1st, 2nd and 3rd, 2008, on the grounds of North Idaho College. The Citizen’s Council for the Arts.” The council’s logo should also appear on the poster, which should be unframed. The deadline is March 24; the winner will receive $600.
