So, everything really did go OK

Three weeks after giving birth to her daughter, Jamie Lynn Spears is sharing memories of a “perfect” delivery.
Spears and fiance Casey Aldridge welcomed Maddie Briann on June 19.
Britney Spears‘ younger sister poses with the baby on the cover of the new OK! magazine – as expected, given the fact that Spears announced her pregnancy through an article in OK! and reportedly was to receive a large payday for exclusive pictures of the baby.
Spears, 17, says she had been nervous about giving birth “but it all fell into place. I was right on schedule. I had a perfect pregnancy and a perfect delivery. I was very blessed.”
She says watching Aldridge hold Maddie for the first time “was the coolest thing. … He was so happy, and that made me the happiest person alive.”
Spears, who starred in Nickelodeon’s “Zoey 101,” said she plans to raise Maddie down South where “the focus is family.”
“I would love being the soccer mom,” she says. “They don’t have soccer down here, but I would love being the softball mom driving the kids around.”
Wool over their eyes
The French hospital where Angelina Jolie will give birth has covered the windows of her room with a special material to prevent paparazzi from taking pictures of her and her partner, Brad Pitt.
“So any pictures released are either posed fakes set up by paparazzi or they are pictures of other patients,” said a spokeswoman for the Lenval hospital in Nice.
Jolie, expecting twins, is being monitored by doctors in the seaside hospital ahead of the birth, said to be “in the weeks to come.”
Speaking of baby watch …
Elsewhere on the celebrity maternity beat, “Baywatch” alum Gena Lee Nolin and her NHL hockey player husband, Cale Huse, are expecting their second child sometime this fall.
The pair, who wed in 2004, have a 2-year-old son, while Nolin has an 11-year-old son from a previous marriage.
A public appetite for him?
Joe E. Tata is cooking again as Peach Pit diner owner Nat in the CW network’s new incarnation of “Beverly Hills 90210.”
“I guess it comes under the heading of magic test: Let’s see if the audience still remembers me,” Tata, who’ll appear in the pilot episode, says of his chances of continued employment.
Other alumni of the original “90210” appearing on the CW show are Jennie Garth and Tori Spelling, while Shannen Doherty reportedly is in talks to return.
On the M-E-N-D
Former Village People lead singer Victor Willis has postponed his latest solo tour while recovering from vocal cord surgery.
Willis, the band’s original policeman, sang lead and co-wrote lyrics to such Village People hits as “Y-M-C-A” and “Macho Man.”
