Error in gray wolf story
The wolf carcass found northwest of Spokane was the first DNA-established instance of wolves in Washington in recent years, but not the first physical proof. Washington Department of Fish and Wildlife officials in 2002 reported seeing a wolf in Pend Oreille County that had been radio-collared in Montana. A story on Page One on Friday said otherwise.
Movie title wrong
The title of the new Batman movie, “The Dark Knight,” was incorrect in a Page One headline in Friday’s editions because of a designer’s error.
