David Vyler, employee of Tamarack Contracting, reported Monday the $600 theft of an excavating bucket from a work site on the 2800 block of Cessna Avenue.

Elmer Wright, Dalton Gardens, reported Monday the $26,000 theft of a 1992 Caterpillar backhoe from a logging site on South Bellgrove Road.

Norman Waldo, Post Falls, reported Monday the $2,924 theft of a grapple rake from a construction site at Lost Springs Ranch subdivision on state Highway 53 and Idaho Road in Post Falls.

Karen Brown reported Monday the $800 theft of timber from her property on Conkling Road near Worley.

Bonnie Williams, Coeur d’Alene, reported Monday the $3,700 theft of a boat motor from a boat parked at her home on the 2300 block of East Lookout Drive in Coeur d’Alene.

David Nosler, general manager of Hern Ironworks, reported Monday the $500 theft of tools and $150 damage to a door of the business at 3610 W. Hern Road near Coeur d’Alene.
