Katherine Hall has been hired by Rockwood Clinic as a physician assistant in the Urgent Care Centers. She previously worked as a physician assistant for Group Health. She holds an undergraduate degree from Lee University and completed the Physician Assistant Program at James Madison University.

Windermere Real Estate/Valley, Inc. has hired Lisa Sweeney as a sales associate for its Spokane Valley office. She previously worked for Focus One Realty in Newman Lake. Steven Blaschke has been hired as an account executive for Fidelity Associates Financial Services. He previously worked for Marsh/Mercer Consulting and has over 30 years of experience in employee benefits consulting.

Inland Imaging, LLC has hired Jennifer Brown as manager of MRI Services. She previously worked as the MRI team leader for the Mayo Clinic in Phoenix. She attended the University of Dayton and Mercy Hospital School of Radiologic Technology and completed a fellowship in Neurologic and Body CT/MRI.

Andrea Hannon has been hired as conservation director for Inland Northwest Land Trust. She previously worked as attorney for a local law firm.

Inland Insurance Inc. has hired Andy Robles as a commercial insurance agent.

Dr. John McCarthy has been hired as WWAMI assistant dean for Clinical Phase/Central and Eastern Washington, a position based in Spokane and partnered through the University of Washington School of Medicine. In addition, Dr. McCarthy will continue to work as a family medicine physician for Group Health. He attended Gonzaga University and the University of Washington School of Medicine and completed his residency through the Tacoma Family Medicine Residency Program.

Greater Spokane Incorporated has hired Megan McNeal as an events coordinator. She previously worked in the administration and traffic departments for Radio Spokane and holds a Bachelors degree in organizational communications from Eastern Washington University.

The Rockwood Clinic Cardiology department has hired Janet Zierer as an advanced registered nurse practitioner. She holds an undergraduate degree from Lewis Clark State College and a graduate nursing degree from Gonzaga University. She previously worked as a nurse practitioner for Inland Cardiology.

Dr. Scott Carleton has been hired by Inland Imaging, LLC as a breast and body radiology subspecialist. He previously served as chief of radiology at Medical Imaging Northwest in Lakewood, Wash. and has over 25 years of diagnostic radiology experience. He holds degrees from the University of Washington and Emory University Medical School and completed his residency at the University of British Columbia.

The Business Professionals of America (BPA) awarded Kathie O’Brien with an Outstanding Service Award during the organization’s 2008 National Leadership Conference in Reno, Nev. O’Brien currently works as a computer applications and office technology instructor for North Idaho College and also serves as NIC BPA chapter adviser.

GIFTS

These organizations include: Junior Achievement, Spokane AIDS Network, Spokane Low-Income Housing Consortium, Women Helping Women Fund, American Cancer Society, Spokane American Youth Hockey Association, and the Northwest Museum of Arts and Culture.
