Melissa Carstens exchanged wedding vows with Daniel Wessman in a May 17 ceremony at St. Aloysius Roman Catholic Church.

The bride is the daughter of Philip and Bridget Carstens, Spokane. Larry and Keka Wessman, Nine Mile Falls, are the parents of the groom.

A reception was held at the Spokane Athletic Club. The couple are living in Spokane after a honeymoon in Athens, Greece, and London.

A graduate of Gonzaga University, the bride works at the Foley Center Library at Gonzaga. The groom is also a graduate of GU and is a captain in the Washington Army National Guard.
