Police identify car burglary suspect

The Spokane Police Department has identified a burglary suspect Wednesday in connection with a break-in that occurred Tuesday at the 700 block of West Seventh Avenue, Officer Jennifer DeRuwe said. Anyone who knows the whereabouts of 29-year-old Jesse D. Luke should call 911.

Luke is being sought by the state Department of Corrections for an outstanding escape warrant, DeRuwe said.

Luke also is suspected of breaking into a secure parking area and stealing items out of vehicles, DeRuwe said. A surveillance photo was released by the department on Tuesday.
