More baggage for Naomi
Temperamental model Naomi Campbell was sentenced to 200 hours of community service Friday after pleading guilty to assaulting two police officers after an “air rage” incident at London’s Heathrow Airport.
She was also ordered to pay 200 pounds ($400) to each of the police officers she attacked and 150 pounds ($300) to the captain of the British Airways plane she disrupted, in addition to a 2,300 pound ($4,600) fine.
Campbell, 38, had faced up to six months’ jail time on the charges.
Prosecutors said she used foul language, kicked and spat at police, and accused airline personnel of racism after being told that one of her bags had not been placed on a flight to Los Angeles in April.
Her lawyer said she was upset because the bag contained an outfit that she was contractually obligated to wear at an L.A. event.
Last year, Campbell was sentenced to a week of community service after admitting to throwing a mobile phone at her housekeeper.
Earlier, she had agreed to take an anger management course after a similar attack on another employee.
Hers, of course, will be blue

Hasbro will auction the special ponies for the Give Kids The World charity as part of a celebration of the toy’s 25th anniversary.

James Bond film producer Barbara Broccoli has paid $38,000 for a kiss from Daniel Craig, who plays the suave British spy on screen.
Broccoli will also get kisses from Hugh Grant and Robbie Coltrane for her winning bid at the Great British Movie Event benefit for the National Film and Television School.
The auction on Tuesday raised $800,000 for the film school. Bond’s tuxedo from “Casino Royale” sold for $19,000.
Kissed it by that much
Steve Carell says he enjoyed his onscreen smooch with co-star Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson in the new “Get Smart” spy flick.
“He smells like strawberry shortcake,” Carell says, adding: “For me, that’s why they call him The Rock. He rocks people’s worlds.”
Johnson, besides disputing Carell’s sense of smell (“strawberry shortcake with liver, I think”), says: “I thought, if Jake Gyllenhaal can do it, Will Smith can do it, then I can do it, too.”
