Clay and Lavina Anderson celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary with a reception for family and friends at Reardan City Park on Saturday.

Hosts for the event included their children and spouses: Paul and Teresa Anderson, Spirit Lake; Mark Anderson, Seattle; James Anderson, Spokane; Heather and Steve Cools, Davenport, Wash.; Dawn-Marie and Bret Smitson, Clarksville, Ind.; and John and Tara Anderson, Wash.

The couple were married June 21, 1958, in Reardan. They have 20 grandchildren.
