Don and Rita Wessels will celebrate their 60th wedding anniversary with a gathering at the home of their son and daughter-in-law, Tom and Kristy Wessels, in Sandpoint on July 12.

Hosts for the event will include their children and spouses: Mary Helen and Bob Black, Tom and Kristy Wessels, and Jim and Teri Wessels, all of Spokane; Jerry and Cathy Wessels, Dallas; Tony and Theresa Wessels, San Jose, Calif.; Lisa and Scot Baker, Seattle; and Chrissy and Bob Middendorp, Twin Lakes, Idaho.

The couple were married June 22, 1948, in Greencreek, Idaho. They have 14 grandchildren.
