Wedding takes the cake at Fox
New bride Kelli McNutt married Andy Whitecar last weekend in an untraditional place. But she followed tradition in other ways.
She was surrounded by something old: The grand Martin Woldson Theater at the Fox.
After its renovation, a project in which her father, architect Steve McNutt, played an important part, the grand space was also her “something new.”
Thanks to caterers, Glover Mansion Catering, and the exquisite Art Deco interior, she had something borrowed and something blue.
After the ceremony on the mezzanine, the first wedding to be held in the newly refurbished Spokane landmark, the couple’s parents, Steve and Lorrie McNutt and John and Lenore Whitecar, and 150 guests raised their glasses in a champagne toast. The wedding dinner was held in the Founder’s Gallery, where a cake, prepared by Eva Roberts of Just American Desserts, was cut and another toast was made.
The evening ended with dancing to tunes by Stagecoach West.
