Amber Finley scored 12 of her game-high 22 points in the second half and the Crusaders survived a late Pirates run.
Tacoma Baptist took control of the game in the third quarter, outscoring the Pirates 13-4 to take a 31-19 lead into the fourth.
Pomeroy came storming back in the final quarter, though, coming within 49-45 with 28 seconds remaining. But the Crusaders’ Erica Tuell made two free throws with 21.7 seconds left and Tacoma Baptist held on for the victory.
Melanie Shank added 17 points on 7-of-13 shooting and grabbed six rebounds for the Crusaders.
Taelor Braun had 15 points and 14 rebounds for the Pirates.

The Crusaders outscored La Conner in every quarter en route to a 38-22 consolation-win over the Braves.
Angela Woods had 13 points and eight rebounds and Ann Barrick added 11 points and five boards to lead the Crusaders to victory.
La Conner went ice-cold in the second half. The Braves made just 2 of 26 from the floor, including 0 of 7 from beyond the arc.
Kelsey Kennedy had a team-high eight points and Sabrina Schwindler added seven points and eight rebounds to lead La Conner.
The Braves had 10 more offensive rebounds than the Crusaders, but failed to capitalize on the extra opportunities.

Megan Spence scored 21 of her game-high 27 points in the first half and the Warriors eliminated the Dragons.
St. George’s opened the game on a 6-0 run after Chessey Thomas and Alicia Burns hit 3-pointers in the first 1 minute, 15 seconds. But the Warriors came back to tie the game at 16 at the end of the first. Spence had 14 of her team’s 16 first-quarter points.
Thomas hit a 3-pointer with 29.9 seconds left in the fourth to bring the Dragons within four, 43-39, but Spence made a pair of free throws in the final 30 seconds to seal the deal for King’s West.
Thomas finished with a team-high 15 points for St. George’s.

Sophomore Bailey Bradshaw nailed a short jumper and fellow sophomore Shelby Scott converted three free throws down the stretch to help the Mountain Lions pull away in the final quarter.
Lind-Ritzville was bothered by turnovers all afternoon and trailed 26-21 after three quarters. The Broncos turned the ball over 16 times in the first half, 28 times for the game. The miscues led to 22 of Liberty Bell’s 36 points.
Danielle Sackmann hit a 3-pointer from the top of the key with 7:17 left in the game to pull the Broncos to within two, 26-24, but they would get no closer. Scott made 3 of 4 free throws in the final 24.6 seconds for the Mountain Lions.
Scott led Liberty Bell with 15 points on 4-of-15 shooting, including 2 of 3 on 3-point attempts. Kelli Campbell also grabbed seven rebounds for the Mountain Lions; Korrie Bourn ripped down six. Laura Cain had seven points and four rebounds to lead Lind-Ritzville.
The Mountain Lions collected 13 steals, with Ryliegh Ferrill, Scott and Bourn all with three.
Liberty Bell limited the Broncos to three field goals in the second half.

Jasmine Stohr ignited the Lightning’s 8-2 run in the final 2 minutes, 17 seconds to secure an tense semifinal victory.
Stohr scored to give La Salle a 48-45 lead. Megan Bonny sank 4 of 6 free throws and Stohr hit two with 7.5 seconds left to clinch the win.
The game was intense throughout with a large number of fouls and spirited play by both squads. White Pass held a 25-23 edge at the half and Breanna Moody tied the game at 35 with a 3-pointer from the left side as the buzzer sounded to end the third quarter.
The teams traded baskets until Bonny hit a jumper from the right corner to give La Salle a 46-44 lead.
Stohr finished with a game-high 28 points on 11-of-18 shooting and nine rebounds. Moody had 19 points, including 5 of 11 on 3-pointers, and 14 rebounds for White Pass. The clubs combined for 41 fouls, 21 on LaSalle. White Pass shot 46 percent (6 of 13) from long distance.

The Tigers used a combination of presses and traps early and often, causing 12 first-half Vikings turnovers, en route to a comfortable semifinal win.
The Vikings were outmatched, scoring only two points in the first quarter and six in the first half.
Napavine’s pressure really got to Mossyrock as the Vikings shot only 19.5 percent from the field and didn’t make a 3-pointer, going 0-10.
Napavine used consistent play on offense and tough defense to send the defending champs packing. All but one player on the Napavine roster scored.
The Tigerswill be making their first state championship game appearance.
